Romano's Macaroni Grill

I was given a gift card early in 2023 after I had an accident where I broke my ankle. I finally got out to a Macaroni Grill in Virginia this past Saturday, December 30th, and when I went there, they told me I would be unable to use the gift card, even though the card I got clearly said I could print out what I had and present it as a gift card (I had a pin number as well). There was no clear explanation as to why they would not accept it, except they said something along the lines of sometimes, the gift cards do not go through the next day, and they are left without the payment. They initially asked me for the e-mail I received, which I provided to them, but still they said they could not accept it.
