I regret to be in the situation of having to email about this issue but I am extremely disappointed and concerned about the service I received today from Dr. Koran Babu Seshareddy from Banfield at 1160 North Loop 1604 W Ste 101 in San Antonio Texas.
My yorkie has been having some stomach issues for a month now, and has gone to the doctor (Banfield) three times in the past three weeks. I normally receive a good service from the doctors, but today was a different story. Today, I took her in because she had a very bloated belly, an issue that has been going on but got worse in the last week, she’s still not pooping right and the doctor that saw her today was absolutely terrible. He couldn’t give me one answer, continue to ignore what I was telling him (that she didn’t have nor has had diarrhea in a while, which is not the issue that I brought her in for) and he went on about her diarrhea. In the last week I have only fed her the prescription diet and medicines I was described last week, no treats, nothing else, we kept the physical activity normal walking at least 1 time a day sometimes two, and my normally 8lb yorkie (that was 9lbs at the moment) gained a whole pound. The doctor told me to continue with the diet and medicines but failed to consider other options like a blend diet while she improves or provided other options based on his “expertise”, he also was not able to advice on ways to lose weight, to get her feeling better, and ended up by hanging up the phone on me.
I am extremely disappointed and angry with the TERRIBLE service I received. I don’t know why this doctor is able to practice if he seems completely clueless and all he said was “I recommend to continue what they told you last week”, which caused my dog to gain 1 whole pound.
I also wanted to see the notes and get a second opinion, but his notes did not include any information about the reason he saw my dog today (GI concerns, bloating, mucous in pool), or what he found or saw today (which apparently was a large liver). Below is a copy of the notes, just so you can see for yourself the lack of preparation, dedication and professionalism in this vet.
I would like to get this issue resolved, as it’s concerning that’s he’s not taking a (my) dog’s health seriously nor professionally and on top of that, hangs up the phone. If there are any recordings that can be extracted, my call with the doctor was at 4pm so you can further review his lack or professionalism.
Desired outcome: Better doctors
