I worked for this company for one day. While I was there, several superiors/managers were very condescending. Several employees were very discriminative and uttered several derogatory remarks in Spanish.
While I was there I was denied access to both water and a bathroom as it was very hot to work in the environment. A few employees made it very clear to me that the fan that was there was to be pointed on them at all times and that it was not to be touched!
I was harassed by supervisors on a few occasions regarding workload. When I told them I quit they asked me to submit to a drug test out of a vindictive and spiteful nature with no real reasoning behind it. I refused out of a matter of private personal property protected by my civil rights as an American under the Constitution based off the fact that the request was made out of vindictiveness.
A co-worker of mine had commented on one of the womans' shirt that was a parody of Dr. Pepper that said "Dr. Jesus" - she filed a complaint against him stating that he was sexually harassing her.
When giving instructions on the job they were very vague even contradictory even when regarding safety procedures. This company primarily employees Mexican workers and is discriminative against anyone who is not.
I found out from several past employees that this company has a history of this sort of "work ethic". It was a very UN-professional work environment and highly unethical. If you are considering employment with this company I would suggest not doing so.
I filed a complaint with the New Braunfels police department, A Federal complaint with The Texas State Work Commission, Texas State Attorney General's Office and I will be speaking with my lawyer about a possible lawsuit regarding this matter.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
