I am writing this to report a manager (Josh Shubert) at Store #289 and his mistreatment of an employee. I am not ok with a grown man standing over my daughter yelling at her to hurry up while she was trying to count change back to a customer in the drive thru. After speaking to him personally he tried to assure me that he did not yell at her, but I am quite certain that there would be witnesses to support her claim as well as video footage if that exists. He said he put her in drive thru due to her having an injured wrist, but as he was walking away from her after getting onto her he mentioned something about her other wrist being broken. To a 16 year old girl that is working her first job, this would certainly come across as intimidating. I highly doubt that she is the only one he as treated this way and from a corporate standpoint, I believe he does not exemplify what Braum's stands for. There have been other reports of inappropriate management behavior when dealing with staff. I feel like this location needs to be investigated and that the guilty parties should be terminated. I know there is a culture that Braum's strives for and this new location is not a good representation of these core values. As a former restaurant manager I know how important it is to maintain an image or brand. I also know there is professional way to handle crew members that institutes an environment that is productive as well as enjoyable. If this continued mishandling of staff continues, this store will begin to struggle to hire quality employees. A reputation is something that is VERY important to a brand and I would hate for all the hard work, time, and money spent on opening this new store to be for not. Please take the time to investigate this store's management team and make the appropriate changes before it is too late. To those that take time out of their busy day to read this and take the necessary action, Thank you.
Desired outcome: Addition training and a zero tolerance of employee mistreatment.
