I just recently quit my job at store #07252 because the store manager Shelia Johnson is very rude and does not know what she is doing. My first day she was not prepared at all. She hired me as a cashier but has me doing stock and register (Which I do not mind). The problem is that she will have 4 out of the 7 workers she has on one shift and would only put me on the register. She would give me merchandise to put up all the way in the back of the store. The store is never really busty maybe 4 customers at once, but she would get upset when I'm in the back of the store doing what she asked me too and I'm not in the front in 5 secs to ring up a customer. She will be sitting right next to the register and except me to run back and forth being the cashier and the stocker even though there are enough people that I don't have to be the only one on register. She constantly complains about not having anyone to work nights but she schedules pretty much everyone from Opening till around 4-5. She never has anything for the store done. We run out of change and she wont go get any more until we are completely out and she will leave the store for more than 10 minutes and no one knows where she goes. She's always on her phone having personal conversations and if she isn't on the phone she's being rude to customers. She has called other employees from neighboring stores to close her store because she wanted to leave, but told me I was 'rude and inconsiderate' because I told her I have to watch my 5 year old cousin in the evening and I have school so I can't work nights. All of this I put in my application before she hired me. She has also asked me multiple times last minute to stay an extra shift because someone else couldn't come in. When I told her no because it's last minute she became very rude and nasty with me. My last straw was today. I text her hours before my shift and told her I couldn't come in because I wasn't feeling well. I had been throwing up and showing signs of covid and might have to go to the hospital (BTW she came to work sick, very sick for a week, hacking and coughing and sneezing everywhere and she didn't wear a mask.) All she was worried about was me not calling and telling her. SHEILA JOHNSON is very RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL AND SHOULD BE MONITORED FOR HER ACTIONS NOT ONLY TOWARDS CUSTOMERS BUT HER EMPLOYEES AS WELL! I've gotten multiple customer complaints about her and I've only been working there for about a month.
