I am a 3 year employee of family dollar and I must say all that I have read today is compelling enough for me to 1. write this and 2. contact hr and customer service to perhaps find some way to resolve some of, if not all of, these issues.
I am brought here by my own complaint of nepotism at my store and selling alcohol and tobacco to minors.
As I come to this form, again I am appalled, it asks what has the customer/plaintive done to try to fix their issue. My question is why should the customer/plaintive have to try and fix anything? They didn't break it - they can't fix it. Family Dollar must do this.
Then in the section titled "product or service complaining about" the quoted paragraph states, "Other customers or companies need to know exacts in order to help me." This tells me Family Dollar has no intention of doing anything.
This is so sad and so degrading. My stores customer service does not act like this but for family dollar to not only have the word family in its name but to do nothing to protect that name with some sort of integrity and for the company to do nothing is incredibly insane.
Desired outcome section will not allow me to complete my sentence. so I am placing the entire resolution of my liking here: Set up a call center to address these complaints and get "people of position" in their stores to find out what's up And fire some folks It would be better to not have a store operating until you can hire competent people than to have a bad reputation all over the US where people won't shop
