The power recliner that I purchased does not provide the comfort or fit that was experienced by sitting. In the floor model in the store. It is a challenge to find a recliner that will accommodate my husband who is 6'4" tall. We would not have purchased a product that he was not comfortable in. The recliner delivered to us has a different feel and does NOT accommodate his height.
In my opinion this is false advertising.
I went back to the store and was told by a sales associate to call customer service. They have a no refund policy so they authorized a repurchase within 30 days. I offered the solution of giving us the floor model which is the one we thought we were buying. I was told by the manager that that is in no way possible.
Upon asking the store manager for the name and number of his supervisor so that I could try to talk to the next level about the issue I was told he would not give that information and that I needed to call customer service which I had already done. Trying to get through to a person at corporate to no avail.
I had purchased leather furniture from Rooms to Go 15 years ago which I have had no problem with. I am so disappointed in the lack of customer service and ability to even talk to someone higher in the company to find a resolution to fix something I think is wrong. The recliner on the sales floor is NOT made the same as the recliner that was delivered to our home.
Because of that I believe I should get a refund but at the minimum at least give me the floor sample. That would still be a loss for me because I paid for a new chair and that one is obviously used. I bought the chair for Father's Day but there is no point in keeping it if he literally does not fit in it!
