Tech Maria with Quest Diagnostics has a small office at Dr. Marcia Oliveira MD., P.A. clinic.
I went in to get lab work done Thursday in the morning. I am aware that I have 2 open invoices in which I am making payments on.
Maria the tech told me about them and printed out an Outstanding Balance Statement, I told her I am making payments on those and that today I was only paying for today's service which was going to be $146.21 and gave her my debit card. She ran it and gave me a payment receipt for it which I signed. Only for $146.21.
Last night 12/12/19 I found out that my card was charged for the two other transactions that I did not authorized or got a receipt for. One is for $1, 413.66 and the other one is for $244.45
Today I talked to several people at Quest Diagnostics and all of them were extremely unhelpful. One of them even said that since I owed that money they just charged me for it and that's it. I went back to my doctor's office to talk to Maria and she was unhelpful too just giving me the run around.
My desirable solution for this is to get a refund as soon as possible since I didn't authorize those charges.
Attached you will find the Outstanding Balance Statement that I got from Maria and the only Payment receipt I authorized for $146.21
