Family Dollar

Item of $10.00 purchased on sale at 7.00 in the wrong size. I went to exchange for bigger size. Manager Archie said she could not exchange or return the item because it was on clearance. I said if so isn’t this bigger size the same exact item for exchange? Her response was it doesn’t matter, it’s not returnable. She/he grabbed it from me in a tug of war and said it doesn’t matter. I said I wanted to purchase the item if it was on sale. She was rude and got loud saying it doesn’t matter. The demeanor and grabbing the item from me, I had it with her and she said for me to leave at the same time I said forget it and let go of the item and left my purchased item on the counter along with what I was supposed to exchange. I called another store and it was able to exchange it there with no problems. The manager at that store said the item was not a clearance item and that it could be returned. Receipts attached showing I exchanged it at another store.
