Honey Baked Ham

I preordered ham 6-8 lb ham for Thanksgiving and was told to pick it up on Sunday 11/21/21, When I got to the store in Knoxville Tennessee the man behind the counter said you're getting a 8 lb ham and I said no 6-8 lbs, So he went to the cooler and I said 7 lbs would do, He then opened another cooler and gave me a 8.59 lb ham. I usually take a pic of the wrapper and date, but I had not done this by Thanksgiving day, but after everyone ate I looked at the wrapper and it read ; Use by 11/25/21
Which was Thanksgivings day! That only leaves maybe 2 days to enjoy a $77.00 ham before having to freeze. When I called the store they didn't offer to replace, but said it was good for another 5 or 6 days in the fridge! That would make it more than time allowed per Honey baked, I'll probably be having Cades Cove Ham for Christmas Dinner.
