Logan's Roadhouse - service and food and handwashing.

Well, this made 2 Sundays in a row that we have went to Logans Restaurant in Cookeville. My special needs son likes the rolls and peanuts. I doubt if we will go back. It was not a packed place and we went in at 12:30 pm and we got our food at 1:40. We were so frustrated that we were about to pay for our empty drink glasses and leave. You usually don't have to scream across the room to get a refill or wait long enough that you could have ate and left somewhere else. Its hard to sit there and do without drink for so long. The girl didn't seem concerned at all. When you go out, you expect good service and cleanliness. Last Sunday it was at 50 dollars and our half rck of ribs looked like they had been in the oven for days. They were hard and very hard to chew. So we thought it may be a bad day. So today 53 dollars and wow, we had to wait over an hour for our food. She was not a person easy to locate when you needed something or didn't seem to care if you got your food or not. She said "Well I guess I could go see where your food is." Hard Ribs and my sons fish had an inch or two on the end of his country fried fish so hard he had to take all that off. We were so disappointed. It used to be a great place to eat but I dont know what has happened to it. No wonder no waiting in line or waiting for a seat.. A close parking spot and I don't know who wears the red shirts in the staff but my husband went to the bathroom and he said the big crack in the door showed an employee was coming our of the stall beside him. Went straight out the door. Never washed his hands or attempted to near the sink. When we left the table and started out, there he stood by the check in desk, handing out to go orders and checking and seating people. That is the least a person could do to help protect our children and the public. It doesn't take that long to wash your hands. I don't know what needs to be done, but the fact that Logans is loosing money and closing stores, now doesn't surprise me. There are too many nice places to eat to have to deal with this. We should be compensated for the 100.00 we spent on 2 meals with bad food, service and no concern for the public. The world needs to be more careful with the people who spend money and make you what you are because believe me its not easy paying a high price for the food there. Thanks for your time.
