Petco

On 11/13/2023 I took my Cavachon puppy for grooming at the Petco located at 1945 W Palmetto St., Florence SC.

My puppy was nicked causing a bald spot while being groomed on his right hind leg. His fur was cut low revealing his pink skin. I didn't immediately notice the nick because it blended in with his pink skin. In addition for about a week following the grooming, he didn't allow me to touch the injured leg. I went away for Thanksgiving holiday. Upon returning, I noticed his fur is not growing back in the spot where he was nicked. I took him to Petco store on 11/28/23. Initially the tech who groomed him and manager seemed interested in sending him to my vet at Petco's cost. The manager went to make a phone call allegedly to make an appointment with my vet. She came back and said her supervisor would not allow her to make appointment for my pup at the Vet. At this time my pup's fur is growing back but not in the spot where he was nicked.

I'm disappointed that my $3000 puppy appears to have permanent damage to his "coat"
