Let me start by saying I love the children's place but during this day I had several problems. I went in and the staff were just sitting at the front on chairs behind the register. I was not asked if I needed help. There were other customers in the store but the staff proceeded to communicate and talk about things non work related and not help customers. There was a fat guy who was working and his stomach and butt were out. I know that that can't be apart of the uniform policy and for it to be a children's store he should have on clothes that are appropriate for work. I was unhappy as well because once I checked out he said there are no price matches and I have spoken with cooperate before and that is something that's suppose to be done. I don't think that I will ever return or make a purchase at this location.
i did not like the customer experience I had. I had never been in the store before and I will never go back. I was trying to purchase an item and asked for help and the staff did not help me like I thought she would. It was a pregnant lady last week went I went into the store. I asked for help with an item and she told me it's over there. I get that she is pregnant and might not want to walk over as far as I was but that's apart of her job and if she can't do her job then I think she should be fired. When I worked at Walmart and was pregnant I still had a job to do ad if I didn't I would get treated like everyone else. Once checking out I asked if she priced matched items with online prices and she told me no. I did some research online after I left and saw that you guys do and she was suppose to price match items. If she does not know everything expected in a job then why did they hire her? I do think that all staff need to be fully responsible and aware of their duties upon receiving a position.
