Contacted home depot protection plan comp on july 5 2021 about issue rep. Said would set up for a repair several texts sent about schedule repair every time the day repair man should arrive would receive a cancelation this went on for weeks contacted protection plan was told by person on phone there was no licensed repairman in my area that they would have to do a buy out to resolve issue I then ask what to do about old fridge was told to have disposed of having been told this got a replacement fridge old one was placed outside by garage to have disposed of properly five days later a repairman shows up at my door after been told to do other contacted protection plan back was told that since I did this it voided my claim so I went to home depot store where I purchased the item and talk to kelly layhue the store manager she contacted the warranty company and got the run around and frustrated but still nothing resolved my kitchen floor has over 3500.00 damage lost over 300.00 in food and over 600.00 in diabetic medication my claim number is [protected] have contacted my home owners ins. And a lawyer waiting to see if something is resolved if nothing is done I guess I will have to proceed with legal action
