Giant Eagle

I walked in to the local giant eagle in Oil City, PA. And all I wanted to do was buy a lottery number for today. The place to get the number is soon as u walk in the door right to ur left. As I was trying to get there I was directed to go a long way around by an employee. I was already within a few feet of customer service window. If my number hits and I was unable to buy it because of this store employee then I will go talk to a lawyer and see if there is any thing legal I can do, are all the store employees as stupid as this guy?
