Red Roof Inn

I had a very pleasant stay my first time. I then reserved 2 rooms for my return to go home. When we got there we given 2 rooms on the first floor. I don't like the first floor but my children said it's only one night. Well I was totally disgusted when I walked in to the room! I can't believe they would actually rent those rooms out to customers!They were filthy! The bathrooms had no shower curtain no plug for the drain and the bottom of the bath tub was black! went to the front desk and told the clerk that we would not accept the conditions of the room. I asked him to find me a pet friendly hotel near by and his response was that they would just charge me more. My children found us the Marriott Residence Inn around the corner! Yes it was a few $$ more but it was clean!I make this trip every year and thought I found a great place to stay with our dog but was sorry disappointed.
