Bob Evans - Food quality

The local Bob Evans in Waverly, Ohio at 50 Morningside Dr [protected]) has continuously failed in providing me with quality food. I usually eat inside to ensure my food comes out correctly and I could have it fixed right away if not. Today I ordered take out due to my boyfriend not wanting to eat in. Which I was hesitant because previous orders. We did it anyway. They did not give me syrup for my pancakes, and the side of toast I ordered was BLACK (burnt). So hard I could barely break it in half. My boyfriends country fried steak looked like SLOP, per usual. Home fries were soggy. I could understand about some sogginess if we lived far away, but we live right up the road. Less than 5 minutes away. This is the last time I will spend my money at this establishment. They clearly take no pride in the food they're serving and have no respect for their customers. Would they expect their family to eat black burnt toast? Who can eat pancakes without syrup. This complaint comes after a long time of dealing with this establishments poor service and food. I will never return and encourage every one else to not either.

I was at Bob Evans in Woodbridge Virginia on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 1 o’clock. There was a Hispanic young lady with black hair in a ponytail, at the window where they prepare the food yelling at a African-American female That was trying to get a manager to help a customer. She was telling her to get out of her window.

All of the restaurant heard this Hispanic woman yelling and screaming. It seems to me that this is very unprofessional and made everyone feel uncomfortable. Where are the managers where are the supervisors? Why wasn’t there anyone out there managing this situation where one employee was very hostile and abusive towards the other. I will not be returning I’ve been coming to this location for five years. Terrible managers. employees that yell and scream at another. I hope that the African-American young lady that was being yelled at quit her job. This Bob Evans has a very toxic atmosphere!

Actually not everyone eats pancakes without syrup. I do not. However I have got to say that lately restaurants are not giving the required condiments unless you ask for them. Even McDonalds have stop giving ketchup with fried unless you specifically ask for ketchup. Most placed will give you a refund if you do not like the food, or a discount on your next visit. Then again some people will deny that such food left the kitchen, I had that experience once, when the chicken I ordered for a party was burnt. Apparently it was a small business, and the person who denied the burnt chicken has a history of rude behavior. His partner who was a great cook left and since he has a history of rude behavior and not cooking food properly his place went out of business. If this keeps up, this location will shut down.
