I had a 8:30 appointment on January 4 2023 to get back brakes and rotors put on. I knew I needed them because I could hear noises coming from the back of the car when I would stop. I have only had the car for 1 month, so I asked if they would look at the front brakes also. There was a message showing that the stabilizer trak needed serviced, so I mentioned this and was told it would be well over $100 for them to run a check on it. I declined the diagnostic check. While my work was being done, I heard one of their mechanics tell a customer that she needed a hose replaced and it was going to run over $200. He said once that was replaced, then he would know if there were other problems with her vehicle. Right away, I knew they were inflating their prices. I was called to the desk and my total was $544.28. When I got home, I noticed that I was charged $21.99 for a complete vehicle inspection, that I know they did not do. I then decided to call 2 other garages and get prices for the work I had just had done. I was charged double what the other places would have charged me. I trusted Firestone, but never again. I called to complain about the $21.99 charge and was told that it would be removed and they would issue me a refund and they did not. This company is getting rich off of their customers with their bogus charges and their inflated prices. I will never return there again!
