AAMCO Transmissions - Diagnostic

On October 14th, 2024, AAMCO towed my car from fire stone. To perform a diagnostic on my transmission on October 15th, 2024, I spoke to Tommy or Thomas about the ricing. He quoted me for 4899 over the phone at 2:27 pm. He then said a detailed link will be sent to my phone to veiw pricing break down. I received the link at 2:31pm. I clink the link and view. I told tommy that is way too much for me at the moment I will get back to him when I figure out another option. I called my car dealership, and he said he can discount me for 1300 labor and repair. But I have to wait for the part to arrive by Monday 10/21/2024. I called tommy back on 10/16/2024 to confirm that I have another place, and can they tow it to the dealership once part arrives. Tommy said that is fine it can sit till ready. I called 10/25 to schedule the towing for that day and tommy said my car was repair and ready for pick up 10/25/2024. I stated I never approved of this work, and we agreed ion getting it towed to dealership this week. He stated the work is already done and I will have to pay this amount. Stated it was approved on 10/15/2024 by a "button" on the invoice. The button is apparently the link that told me to view for my order. I did not agree to any of these and made that very clear I wouldn't have that payment at the moment. I never got a call to confirm the time frame of work. Or that the car is being repaired. I only time I talked to tommy was when I called. I didn't sign any documents or contract. Haven't even been in the shop. But my car was repaired without my knowledge.

Claimed loss: Car repair without acknowledgement

Desired outcome: I need my car back. I shouldn't have to pay anything when my dealership agreed to fix my car and that was acknowledge to this company.
