First, I'd like to state that I only chose kroger Hillsboro Pharmacy because it was relatively close to my home, only 14 miles... I've been dealing with the delays and ridiculously slow lines for almost 2 years.
Picking up prescriptions here means you have to have at least an hour of time to kill, because you're not getting anything in less than an hour, and unlikely to pick up any newly sent over prescriptions within 3 days!
I go to pick up my prescriptions, they are never ready, although the automotive service on the phone says they are. You wait in line in either the drive thru or the walk up in store.
This particular week has been dreadful in terms of customer service with this location.
Last Friday I was due to pick up insulin pen needles, insulin, and my sensors for my diabetes. I pick them up around the same time every 2 weeks..
They said they would be ready to pick up Saturday. Great. Show up Saturday and there's been a mistake, they won't be ready till Sunday.
Sunday, there's been a mistake, they won't have anything in stock till Monday. Monday, there's been a mistake, they won't have it in till Tuesday. Omg. Tuesday I pick up my prescriptions, after driving back and forth to that store 5 times in a row! Well. Wednesday, same week, I have a DAPP appointment, Diabetic program for pregnancy... and they give me another slow acting NPH insulin, and some low dose aspirin, to help prevent complications because I'm such high risk.
They said, stay off my slow acting insulin for 24 hours and pick up my NPH on Thursday.
Thursday's comes, they say pick it up Friday. But now my blood sugars are through the roof and I'm desperate for this insulin.
Friday morning, as soon as they open, they say there's been a mixup with the prescriptions and they're calling the doctor, they're filling the prescriptions come back in ten minutes.. left and came back they said they're not ready, come back in 25 minutes, this doesn't include the additional 40 minutes I spent waiting in line.
After the 25 minutes plus 25 waiting in line, they take my name and walk away from the window, leaving me there for an additional 15 minutes, only to walk over and tell me they don't have my insulin in stock and that they don't even carry it!
Then why have me come back so many times!?
They could have called me Wednesday and told me that they don't carry it, but instead they waste my time.
This pharmacy is a joke.
I'm never coming back and I'm probably never shopping kroger again after this. This is just too much, and the pharmacy techs have zero experience, there's clearly no training. If someone's prescriptions aren't in stock, you don't tell them days it will be back when it won't, they should be asking someone who knows what they're talking about, but apparently no one knows what they're doing.
