Giant Eagle

First was unable to assess survey.

I was at Giant Eagle today

One item I wanted to purchase, were the cookies for.99 for national cookie day. They were out except for the sugar cookie variety. When inquired at the bakery, they said they had no more.

(On a bakery rack in plain view were at least 12 packages.) When I asked was told that they were on hold? Didn't realize that could be done

Anyway after I made my purchases, I asked for a raincheck for the cookies. I was told "oh we haven't issued raincheck since Covid.

Now the pandemic was tragic. Being a respiratory therapist, I worked in the midst of it. But it is a shame when companies use it as an excuse for not doing their jobs!
