I was browsing for glasses today, 2/1/24, in my local Visionworks when I was told that their optician Joelle was out on lunch so I would have to wait in order to be cashed out for any glasses. The woman who helped me was very friendly and the only one working up front and she told me that she’s not licensed but she did offer me assistance with browsing glasses. So in the mean time I waited about 10 mins or so when the optician came in and immediately walked in causing a scene and started yelling at the other girl who told me I could browse for glasses. I was taken back at the way the shorter woman, the optician, was talking and cursing out the girl in front of multiple customers. She said “this is [censored]ing [censored]” in front of us and other words and the other girl told her she would talk with her after and not in front of customers. I’m sorry but that’s very unprofessional and embarrassing for vision works since this isn’t the first time something like this has happened at this store with the same associate swearing and yelling at the other girl, who was very professional and composed herself very well. This has been an ongoing issue with this store it’s very poorly managed and if that’s how your workers are going to conduct themselves in the workplace something really needs to happen because it’s ridiculous. Personally this woman “Joele” needs to be fired. From now on after today I’m no longer doing business with Vision works I’m taking my business elsewhere.
