New York Sports Club [NYSC]

Sir/Madam, (member # 8833807) I am a fitness advocate and have a few gym memberships due to my work travels. I have been an attorney at the Brooklyn state & federal courthouse across the street from your establishment for over 25 years. I beieve NY Sports Club has more knowledgeable staff and equipment than your competitor Equinox & Planet Fitness. Therefore, I have recommended your gym to numerous judges, attorneys, and court personnel. Unfortunately, your Remsen street gym has constantly let me down.in 2018, I convinced my colleagues to rent lockers and store gym equipment. This would eliminate an excuse for not working out. Everyone was excited and rented the lockers. SIX months later, all the locks were clipped and the locker contents were thrown in the garbage. I complained to the front desk personnel and was told the district manager and manager were present conducting an inspection. Without an ounce of emphathy, both managers told me I was assigned an incorrect locker. We were angry but could tell the managers did not CARE. We were simply assigned new lockers. WE were told sarcastically "I hope it does not happen again." Fast forward to November 2019, our lockers were clipped againand equipment was thrown in the garbage. We were told the wrong lockers were assigned. The staff desperately tried to cover for the managers but had no plausible excuse. My colleagues told me they were joining Equinox and Planet Fitness. How can I in good faith recommend NY Sports club again. If there was an ounce of humility from the managers, my colleagues would have not thought about leaving. We all understand mistakes happen but the arrogance is un forgivable
