Bloomingdale's - Loyalist promotional coupon order #[protected]

On Jan 5 I went to use a Loyalist promo for $50.00 off $200 single purchase Bloomingdale's mailed to me for use before Jan. 19, 2022. On the back it said some basic exclusions however including "certain designer brand exclusions". That's quite a broad statement and didn't clarify what I could or could not use it on. I put some Tory Burch sandals and another item in the bag totaling 205.00. Nowhere on the website or in the shopping bag or at checkout did it say those sandals were not valid with promos. But when I put the promo code in it just said your items are not valid. I called to get clarification and a list of the exact "certain designer brands" that were excluded so as not to waste any more of my time shopping on ineligbile items. After 8 mins on hold the cust. svce. rep told me he mailed me a list and it would take a couple of hours to reach me. As predicted I never received it. These people lie and you'll see as I go on with this all day saga.
So I emailed customer service explaining my problem with the exact items and brand names I wanted to purchase and they wrote back in a form letter in terrible English that they appreciate my loyalty and are there to help so if they just call customer service again they will honor the promo code. I called, spoke with Daniel and he spoke with his supvr. Andy who both said no I could not use this promo regardless of what I was told.
I then emailed customer service again and it was obvious they didn't even read the content of the email and returned another form letter saying I should go ahead and make the purchase, get back to them with the order number and they will refund the $50.00. So I did just that.
Guess what? They said they could not refund me because of the brand exclusion. I again wrote back nowhere is that brand name written as excluded. NOWHERE. They also actually suggested I go ahead and make another $200 purchase on another item to use the promo. Sounds like either a scam or sheer stupidity. I've worked in customer service my entire life and the lack of knowledge and integrity and Bloomingdales customer service dept is stunning.
If Bloomingdale's goes back on their word after telling me to make a $200.00 purchase I'll never shop there again if this is not made right

I have all relevant emails but was unable to upload them here.

Desired outcome: $50.00 credit to my credit card for purchase with promo

Bloomingdale's - Women's shoes

I tried to return a pair of women's shoes back in February 2019 to the Bloomingdales store. The shoes were purchased in August 2012 when there was no time limit for returns. The store refused to take the shoes back even though I had the receipt/order slip. The shoes were new and had not been worn. They said the shoe SKU was no longer in their system so they couldn't take it back.

I then used the shipping label that had come with the shoes and shipped it back to your Cheshire, CT warehouse via 2-day USPS Priority Mail. I never heard back from the warehouse - I included my phone number in the paperwork in case they had questions. I called customer service, and they said to wait a couple of billing cycles for the credit to be applied to my Bloomingdales account even though they couldn't tell me if the warehouse had received my shoes. I have called back a several times since then, and and spent a couple of hours on the phone without any resolution because they couldn't determine if the shoes were at the Cheshire warehouse, and customer service could not contact anyone at the warehouse to check.

I even sent a letter in Sept to the Bloomingdale's president in NYC and have not heard back from anyone there at the corporate office. What a poor customer experience!

Bloomingdales does not care about it's customers. I would say it's Walmart with higher prices but that would be a disservice to Walmart. I have never encountered a retailer with worse customer service than Bloomindales.
Sorry about your issue.
