I went into autozone 8/27/23 to inquire about my brake warranty. They looked up my vehicle and told me my pads were covered but I needed to purchase a set and then once the old ones were removed they would give me a refund. I brought the old ones in and they said that I wasn’t getting a refund. That they were (normal wear) I’ve never experienced this prior to my other 5 vehicles. I was yelled at by (William) on his name tag. Grey shirt. He told me the pads weren’t refundable. (He never even looked at them. Then when I mentioned it. He picked each one up and as he did he said “normal wear “ before seeing them. Unacceptable. Then he said I was misinformed by an employee. And now it’s my loss?.
Desired outcome: I would like the refund for what I paid. Approx 63.00.
I always purchase the premium level for the best warranty. A choice given during the check out process by sales person.
