I purchased a Pella front exterior door in the latter part of June. The door had to be made at the factory and I was told it would be in stock by August 7, 2023. I received a call the first week of August from Lowes and was told that the door would not be in until about a week later. I explained that I needed to know by August 24th if the door was not in because I would need an extention from my HOA. I was assured that I would be called by August 24th if the door was not in and as soon as it comes in I would be notified by the installation company to get a date for installation. No call came in on the 24th so I waited for the call for install. Today I went thru messages and called the national Lowes number. No one answered in the department where I purchased the door and she left a message with the manager. I went about my business and was driving when a male from Lowes called and said the door was in and he wanted to switch me to the installers. I could not make the switch since I was driving and didn't have my calendar. I asked if they could call me in an hour or two. He assured me they would call. I asked how long the door was in Lowes and he said there was a glitch. They were waiting for me to pick it up (no one called me to tell me it was in) but now after he received the info from corporate he sees that my door needs to be installed. After basically blaming me for the door he said oh it was just a glitch. I have not been contacted by the whoever is installing the door. I'm sure it will be next month since I believe the door I purchased was sitting in the warehouse for a least a month. Terrible cusstomer service.
Desired outcome: Give me my door and get it installed properly now. I also want to know how long my door has been sitting in the warehouse. What Lowes is doing about the problem.
