Allsups Convenience Stores - My card was charged twice

I came in early this morning to purchase some gasoline whenever I scanned my card I got a text message instantly from the company I use my card when it stated I was charged $39 and some change whenever the clerk came back to the register he told me that it was declined so I showed him the message that said that it was not declined and the manager takara madrid insisted that it did not go through and there was nothing that she "was" going to do to fix it and I was forced to pay twice this meant I had to leave town for hobbs with no money at all she was extremely rude to me and flat told me she was going to call the police on me because I asked for a written statement saying that my card would be refunded per advice from my card company because they said that it was a completed transaction and had already been paid out twice in ten min I am extremely angry at the level of immaturity and disrespect that was displayed by the manager of the store and I will be talking with the bbb about this incident because I documented all of the details and still haven't received my cash back in excess of 50 dollars

Desired outcome: I want my money back immediately
