Taco Bell

March 9, 2021 at the New Taco Bell drive thru - in Carlsbad, NM on Canal street. 6:00 pm MT The Employee takes our order which totals to $6.32... Employee proceeds to request if we'd like to round to $7.00 she states the extra money is toward a scholarship. At the window, I (the customer), start to inquire about the scholarship in which the employee hesitates to answer yet she removes her name tag. She then reassesses the total amount of the order... I continued to question her about the scholarship. She then tells me she's supposed to ask that way. There was no literature to verify what the scholarship was intended for besides the employee's pocket. Please help costumers from getting scammed. We, customers, honestly work hard for our money and would be willing to help students who need scholarships if it was factual not a fabricated scam. What a shameful act.
