Stanton Optical

My son who was home for the holidays from college went in for an eye exam and contacts. They don't even have an eye dr on premises. It was done on a video call and they had to do it twice and they still screwed it up. The prescription was so wrong that by the time he got back to school for basketball practice he couldn't wear the lenses and had to get another exam. Stanton said they would refund the cost of the lenses back on 1/4/2022, but nothing has ever appeared with the bank except the original charge. They can not produce a receipt that shows the refund going back to his card and we have started a dispute with the bank and have talked to an attorney about bringing a small claims suit against them. All over a $165 refund that we have been given a run around with for over 3 weeks now. Can't talk to anyone in the US or the store by phone even though they say they are calling back in 24-48 hrs. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from Stanton Optical in Corrales New Mexico.
