I shopped at Acme today 5/12:22 at lunch and clipped my coupons in the app before going to the store. I quickly ran around the store getting the items I needed as I was in lunch break..I checked out at self checkout and after getting my receipt I notice my coupon did not get applied however other coupons were applied. I went to the service and the lady said I needed to clip the coupons 24 hours prior to going to the store. I said I wanted to be refunded so she gave me my money back but said I could not get the free items that I earned because it wasn’t on the app( she didn’t even try to look at the app) it was 1.98 and she was rude! So after shopping at the acme twice this week I had to write this review because it happens so often with their app. I wish it just loaded in your card but I don’t think they really want you to get the discount… I’m very disappointed and I won’t say I’ll never shop there but I will say I won’t shop there if I can help it!
ACME Markets - Rude store personnel
Shopping in store at Cape May Court House . A young woman was bringing out a pallet of tomatoes and I asked her if they were Jersey tomatoes and she relied "Yes". I asked her the price and she rudely stated " I have not got that far yet. How about " I find out for you". No she just ignored me. Most of the people are not helpful in the store especially the front end people and cashiers. I will say the people in the bakery are always very nice and helpful. Maybe the store employees should work in the bakery so they can be retrained by people that know what customer service is about.
The workers and vendors at Acme in Cape May Court House do not wear masks. The man in produce never has a mask on and he is touching everything in produce with his dirty hands and breathing all over everything.
Vendors putting away bread and drinks always have their masks pulled down. Customers are complying but apparently staff does not. I see this every morning I go in. I have reported it to the manager on duty several times.
