I received notification from my insurance agency that they were billed for a prescription for Wixela Inhub 100-50. I did not order this medication nor did I have it on automatic refill. In fact, I had a consultation with a pulmonary specialist who changed the dosage to 250-50 and I had it called into a different pharmacy.
What I think CVS did was contact the physician who prescribed the 100-50 and requested a refill, which I did not authorize. The person I spoke with at the CVS pharmacy said it was a new prescription. It may have been, but they requested it, I didn't. The physician probably filled it because he thought I had requested it.
Then they informed me my order was in and billed my insurance company. I repeat, I did not order this prescription. I requested CVS to refund my insurance company.
