After a year and a half was able to take possession of a fixer upper that was supposed to be new. The roof was hipped up at installation and the siding started falling off immediately. Roughly 6 months later we finally had these fixed at our expense to prevent further damage. I was told we would be reimbursed, but now they will only approve a quarter of it. We had to replace the hot water heater element because it was burned up. We had to clean up water where it wasn't even hooked up properly. There was water damage where the house was flooded due to busted pipes in the wall. This occured before possession and they did not replace insulation. We have pictures of water running down the back of the house and video of the water dripping and pooling under the house. We are now 7 months past taking possession. There is an obviously crooked window they have refused to address. There are gaps in the molding and flooring, a crack in the ceiling, damage to the sheet rock (There when we did the walk through), doors that won't latch, a door that is dragging at the top and hard to shut, missing braces under the house causing significant bounce in 4 rooms, and we think the wall studs are further apart than they are supposed to be. We've dealt with so much, I'm probably forgetting something. I am on my 3rd contact with the company at least and they keep telling me 6-8 weeks even when 9 weeks have passed since my first contact with the most recent person. And he refuses to even tell me what is on a work order he submitted. He waited 8 weeks to even ask for pictures.
Desired outcome: I want a full reimbursement for the repairs I submitted invoices for. This is what I was promised by the previous contact. I want all issues remaining fixed in the next 2-4 weeks.
