On 10/8/2021, I went to Lowe's at chapel hill (NC). I need to buy an electric range to replace my old one. one of the guys told me because it is on sale ($699) and also it is an open box, so no delivery. (But their advertisement is $599 and up is free delivery)?
he told me that I can pay $20 to rent a truck from lowes, pick it up myself, (but they only have one truck, no reservation, no one know when it is available). For recycle, I need to take my old one from my house to lowe's, pay $30 for the recycling fee. I am 58 years old woman. Live here alone. I can't drive the truck. No help!
On 10/9/2021, I went to Lowe's at Beaver Creek at Apex. the guy told me that he didn't have it in stock. but I can go to Cary to try.
On 10/10/2021, I went to Lowe's at Cary. I found the same one for $699. the guy told me he can deliver to my house and help me recycle. I was very happy and paid for everything.
On 10/11/2021, they delivered, but they had the wrong wire, the range can not be set up. they told me that I have to go back to the store let the same person know what's wrong and set up another schedule for delivery.
English as my second language, I have a problem understand talking on the phone. so I back to the store in Cary. the same guy was here. He apologized to me and said that he would tell the manager as soon as possible to help me solve it. I asked talking to the manager. He said the manager was in the meeting. He promised me that he will call me back later today. but I am waiting until 11 pm he never calls.
What kind of service is this? Garbage!
I spend all day, had to call off from my job. my range has broken 5 days now. I can't cook. I went to Lowe's 5 times just to buy a range. I still can not get it. Very disappointed with this place.
