For the last year I have been trying to get disinfectant spray since the pandemic. Every time I go in there is freight that has not been put out right in front of the chemical aisle and when I asked the manager, Ms Lavoris I think, she says they are out every time! I also had a family member who worked there for some time who said the manager would only let them put out freight when she was there so she could get some for her family and friends first. I wouldn't have filed a complaint at all if I could have at least gotten one can but for an entire year this lady has been being greedy with a simple household item and has an attitude when you question her about it.
Desired outcome: Find someone who will do the right thing
How can a store manager hire a family member to work in their store ? I also get the law called on me and my children everytime we go into the store? They always give me the run around about shoes and tell us that anybody over the age of 18 may go into the store without shoes, but anyone under that age limit must have shoes on in order to go into the store. If they don't have shoes on they make them leave the store without purchasing anything from the store. How is that even possible dollar general in Raycity Georgia 31645 is loosing business. I don't have any trouble at any other store but this store. The only reason i shop at this store is because i live in that community.
I don't see them being out of disinfectant sprays. My store has been massively overstocked for months. Now that the pandemic is over its probably going to take a year to sell out of all the sprays we have. I tried to warn that these massive over orders was going to lead to massive overstock cause you aren't going to know when to stop ordering and we were still receiving heavy orders in November when they thought cold weather would boost fear from the pandemic, it didn't.
