I read about a Black Friday special so I called the Springfield office. I was told it was a great deal, the best they had...17 weeks for $149.00. I gave them a credit card, as not to miss the special and went in within a few days to begin. They were very nice and I was impressed. They gave me a diet and it was very doable. I was so excited. They said I need to return within a few days for a class and to have my picture taken. When I went in for the class, there were 30 people in a tiny room and the instructor went so fast I was totally confused. It seemed in order to succeed, you had to purchase all these products and as a retired school teacher I just could not afford it. I purchased what they said I had to have and it was another $175.00. I cried all the way home. I was supposed to have my picture taken that evening they said the picture taking was interfering with their sales computer so I would have to drive an hour AGAIN to have my picture taken at a later date. I was so upset when I got home I decided to wait and calm down before calling them, which I did the next morning. I told them I could not afford this and asked if I returned all the products would they please refund my money. THERE IS NO REFUND. Also, I looked up their Facebook page and it clearly states the Black Friday special was half of what I was charged. I have paid over $300.00 but it appears I cannot afford to do what they say is necessary to do, if I am to succeed. Do I just lose the $300.00+ and consider it a lesson learned? So sad...so unprofessional...if it was above board, I believe they would have told me up front what the real cost would be and let me decide if I could do that or not. They make you sign up and pay first...before they will tell you what the program really is...and then you have already lost your money and cannot afford to do what they say is required. I decided to just forget the program and eat the all the money I had given them because I knew I could not do what they say is required and they were not honest about the actual cost of the program.
