This started with 2 pairs of glasses for my husband. He simply ordered 2 identical pair 1 clear progressive 1 sunglass progressive. We picked up 2 pair full reading glasses. We had them redone. This took almost a month.
My problem is next. I had 4 pair made. The first 2 pair were identical frames. I ordered 1 pair just clear reader and one progressive sunglass. I received 1 clear reader and 1 clear lined bifocal. I sent the 2nd pair back to be a progressive sunglass as ordered.
The second 2 were to be 1 pair progressive progressive polarized sunglass, the other were a clear Ultra X HD Trivex.
My prescription changed within 2 weeks, and I returned the glasses and had a new prescription added. And also changed frames. One month later my vision changed again. I called to let the store mgr know I was having post cataract surgery vision problems and would return to the store following vision treatment by my Dr.
I returned with a new prescription that I received from my Dr at todays appointment, after 6 weeks of care by my Dr. with a new prescription. I informed the clerk, I lost my Trivex glasses, but needed the prescription changed in the other 2 pair. I cannot afford to buy another pair of Trivex, so I asked if I could exchange the sunglasses for clear trivex.
The manager was not at work. The other workers were not sure what to do. They did not think I could get done what I asked for. After an hour in the shop, I left with no answers and the same glasses that no longer work for me.
So, basically out of the 6 pair of glasses initially ordered, 3 of the orders were done properly on the first visit.
/As a side note my Eye Dr. thought there was really no need for ulta X Trivex with my prescription. And he thought the sunglass lenses may be too large for prescription glasses/ his opionion.
I spent around $1,000.00 total. I currently have 1 pair of readers that work.
My husband has his 2 pair that.
This information will be passed on to the store manager by the clerk when she is back to work. Then it will be another trip to the shop. Apparently it will take at least 2 weeks to make new glasses, if the manager thinks I can get new ones made. This is unsure at this time.
Very disheartening.

Desired outcome: To get what I ordered, with my new prescription. With the frames I choose.
