I work for a Dollar Tree store (store 8326) In Southgate MI. I work just as hard as everyone there. I just noticed that I'm getting two day shifts totaling no more than 10 hours while other people that just started are working 15-28 hours. I don't know how scheduling goes but I don't think it's fair. I have a kid and going to work for this hours a week isn't even worth it. I don't know if it's favoritism, or not but it should be consistent with every associate working there. I don't want to quit cause I love working there, but it should be considered that everyone should get equal amount of hours a week. I mean someone is working an 8 hour shift, while I got it off... How is that fair? Why can't they work 4 and let someone else work the other 4... Thats just my understanding and idea. I just wanted to let you someone know.

It is favoritism dollar tree is notorious for it.
The way their employee referral bonus and management bonuses programs work incentivize that exact behavior.
I will be seeking litigation for exactly that, as others have before me and you should as well.
