Taco Bell

Worked here a little while at 24705 West 12 Mile Road Southfield, MI 48034 location and ended up going back to my old job. Absence truly does make the heart grow fonder. Sometimes you don't know a good thing until you foolishly walk away from it. Feels so good to finally be back where I belong! I will never leave my old job again!

Working in this environment was an overall toxic experience. They also pay less than most restaurants which is actually not cool. Never again. So glad this nightmare is finally over.

It was part of my job to take out the garbage everyday. I have no problem taking out garbage. My only issue with it is that some of that garbage was much too heavy for any female and nearly impossible to even lift out of the trash can. If you notice, most restaurants are smart enough to have male employees handling the trash for this very reason.

However, this particular taco bell had zero male employees scheduled to work mornings (other than the rgm and one other male manager) to take on this responsibility when I was there so the burden fell to petite 5 foot nothing me. They are the only restaurant I am aware of who take on this non-chivalrous attitude toward women and there is truly no excuse for it.

They act as if their male employees are too precious to take out the trash. This is another reason I am super glad to no longer be a part of this "team" and culture at taco hell! Good riddance to bad rubbish, literally.

Thank you Tommy for being such a sweetheart. You are the only bright light and the only thing to write home about in this entire darkly hellish environment.
