Werner Enterprises

My son has been employed as an over the road trucker with Werner for one year. Two weeks ago while unloading near West Point in New York, his drivers side door was hit by another truck. It was not his fault. He was taken out of service and put up in a Red Roof Inn in Rochester NY. Werner has left him there for going on 10 days now. They moved his truck that has all of his personal belongings from New York to Pennsylvania for repair. He is stuck in a less than serviceable motel with two changes of clothes. He is receiving $75.00 a day for being out of service. He has to pay for his own food and beverages. Werner is doing nothing to get him out of Rochester. He keeps being told they are going to rent him a car to drive to Werner in Springfield OH. This was 6 days ago. His dispatcher, Doug, has been no help. How can my son earn money to live if Werner is keeping him locked up in a Red Roof Inn. He is not getting anywhere with his superiors. How can this happen?
