As I walked into meijer to do my shopping, I couldn't help but notice the greeter that is covered in distasteful face tattoos was leaning up against the wall staring at her phone. As I said cheerfully "good afternoon!" she did not even look up from her phone to do her job. I did my shopping and came back around to leave, shes still leaning up against the wall staring at her cell phone, I said "have a nice day!" and got the same rude unresponsive attitude.
Very unwelcoming and disappointing.
Desired outcome: attitude adjustment
Meijer - Cashier Ethan
Less then friendly 😕. I said hello and he said nothing the entire time I was checking out. Clearly he was not happy to be doing his job and made it clear that he should not be in the customer service industry. I always answer the survey question at the end of my transaction and he cleared it before I even had a chance to respond.
Very disappointing when I know I usually get such friendly service at this location and meijer pushes their staff to be friendly and helpful.
If he has to deal with entitled brats like you it is no wonder he is not happy with his job. But at least he is working.
Meijer - Cranberry soda pop and meijer soups
I have not been able to purchase Meijer brand chicken noodle or tomato soup in several weeks to months. Recently I have not been able to get regular cranberry soda pop in almost a month. Like to know why. I could understand if it was another brand but come on it's your own brand. This is not the first time in several years.
The shelves of many items on sale can't be found this includes the first day.
Thank you for complaining. I witness behavior described in your comment everywhere nowadays. where are the good employees hiding? remember the genuinely ~happy to be helping you~ attitude of pre c19 days? start paying better wages for excellence not laziness. a dollar is a dollar but a helpful and kind associate is priceless. shop elsewhere for a couple of months and we may notice a change.
