Steak 'n Shake

Today, about 4:45 pm we went to the Alpine Steak and Shake. There was another couple in front of us. We each waited about 5 minutes, nobody came to greet us, or seat us. The other couple ahead of us left the restaurant. I noticed there were at least five tables nobody was sitting at that hadn't been cleared of dishes and silverware. While my wife was waiting, I went to use the men's room. I found out that it stunk just like an outhouse, there were paper towels on the floor. I had to hold my breath just to use the restroom. After that, we still weren't seated yet, so we left. Was there a shortage of workers that day, or what was going on? This is bad for business.
