Safelite AutoGlass - Windshield water leak after replacement. Drivers floor pan area soaked.

Cracked windshield was replaced on 12/1/2023 on WO 31351 however the technician failed to seal the new windshield correctly so water was leaking into the vehicle. I have custom fit floor liners to help collect water and snow that gets tracked into the vehicle and I did notice that I had to empty the water a few times over the winter but assumed it was from snow from our feet. On 2/21/24 I used a car wash and when I got back into the vehicle there was water on the floor liner and you could see where the water was running down the kick panel and dripping from the park brake area. I assumed the windshield was not sealed properly and that was the source of the water. I called the phone number on your repair receipt but it was not the correct number for your store. No idea why any business would allow the wrong number to be listed on their WO but it still has the wrong number on the WO I got yesterday. WO 44099 from 2/23/24 was to remove and reinstall the windshield to correct the previous faulty sealing of the windshield. When I dropped the car off, the lady at the front desk said the soaked floor carpet would be taken care of so I assumed that meant it would be dried completely. After I dropped off the car for this 2nd repair, I called and spoke to Devin and I asked her to feel free to keep the car overnight in their heated facility to aid the drying of carpet/foam backing. They called in about 1.5 hours and said it was ready to be picked up. I got back home and saw that the carpet had not been dried at all. I pulled up the carpet myself and everything was still soaked with water. I displaced the carpet myself to inspect and dry the area as needed. Low areas of the floor pan had standing water. If the foam was compressed, water would come out like squeezing a sponge. I now have the carpet pulled and fans running. The WO only states “possible water leak” with no explanation of what was cause of the water leak. I was told that the technician that did the 12/1 repair, used sealant where the open sealant had cured in the gun prior to my repair and the cured sealant was not removed and discarded by the technician. So the cured sealant caused the leak. Also on the 12/1 repair, the technician failed to properly locate the windshield washer line and with it not being in its correct routing location, it was now possible to be damaged in the hinge of the hood when the hood was opened and closed. VERY unhappy you’re your Miller Road store. They messed up my car and didn’t bother to properly clean up the water mess on the driver’s floor.

Desired outcome: When the previous technician screws up the repair and the carpet is soaked from water entering around the faulty workmanship, the store should be sure the carpet and floor pan area is completely dried out.
