This young woman was all alone in this store trying to wait on customers put up stock and trying to clean up store It seems to me to be a safety issue and well as really OVERWORKING a single employee. this is just right and should be dealt with This isnt the first time This happens all the time t this particular store Im sure the Mich Labor Board would like to know this as well as OSHA for the safety issues Your srore and district managers should be working if these stores are so short staffed Ive worked retail for many years and have never been left to work alone Dollar General with all its stores and profits should be demaded to hire more employees or put these pencil pushing hot shot managers to work Will not shop Dollar General until some clean up in stores and employee help happens Too many other places to shop VERY unfair to any person to leave them alone in a store

I assume this is common everywhere. I work Family Dollar here in Trenton, FL and I was scheduled this past week for a total of 15 hours by myself and the minimum I have ever worked by myself in a week for the past year is 8 hours and even once had to work 15 hours straight in a single day by myself from open to close. I assume most of us who work so many hours by ourselves carry a gun for protection. I keep a 40cal. S&W handgun on me, and a 20 gauge shotgun in my truck.
