Old Navy reviews and complaints 1
View all 336 complaintsOld Navy - I received a gift from a relative and was told it was okay to exchange (I also had receipt and tags)
The store is basically stealing from customers by their policy. The pant was 5 days past the date of exchange which was 45 days. Problem, they had told the relative it was okay to return if they didn't fit no problem just have them bring their receipt since it was a gift. Drove to the store and like robotic verbiage each employee as well as Customer Service at the corporate didn't care. They said it's past the 45 days. Big mistake with tickets on clothing in a box as new and with receipt).
As a business woman in the area and also I have many relatives that no longer will spend a penny in Old Navy. I hope the IRS is paying attention since I also sent them a copy of this. This is completely to prove loss for them so when they go out of business within the next year or two for their tax write off they can show a large enough loss. This is unexcuseable. Needless to say I opened several outlets and also know retail like the back of my hand. Very poor customer service, nasty employees which are kids literally most are right out of high school so easily brain washed by an awful company. I quit shopping years ago at GAP and don't miss them at all either since they all run by this policy of customer doesn't matter once you have the item and we have your money. But, next time you won't have our money or any items leaving your store idiots.
A note to the [censored] running this company, customer service is different than being a manufacturer. My family owned three department stores with standing room only (with a sign in sheet for the fire marshall). You don't get it go back to sewing.
