Giant Food / Giant of Maryland - A lack of help for senior citizens

I live in a senior community that is less than a mile from a Giant store. This store used to be in the Calverton Shopping Center in Beltsville, Maryland. I've been shopping at the Calverton Giant ever since it opened in 1968.

Recently Giant took over a bigger space when a Shop Rite store closed nearby. Since the Giant moved into this bigger space, the service has gone down hill big time. There are very few employees around to help get things off of very high shelves. Once you check out, there is no one to help you get your groceries into your car.

I am extremely disappointed with this store and am contemplating trying the Giant store in Burtonsville.

I had the very same issues the last time I went to the Giant - about 3 weeks ago.
