On February 8, 2021 at 230pm at the Family dollar store located at 454 Breckwood ave in Springfield Mass, my wife and I was made to wait 10 minutes and still did not receive any service while the general manager and one of the cashier discussed her schedule for the up and coming week. Having worked in customer service for many years I know for a fact that this behavior is not professional or nor what is expected from your representatives. The one cashier that was on the cash register appeared new and was having a very hard time trying to complete his transaction with his customer. The reason for my complaint today is (I and others) have been to your store at this location and noticed a certain lack of motivation among the staff and displayed in this incident also by your general manager. May I suggest that you consider using a secret shopper, a person who goes in and act as a regular shopper to observe what is really happening in your stores. For complaints most of the time is looked upon as a wacky person just complaining again, until you begin to notice why business is falling off. A secret shopper is your answer to restore your level of professionalism that is truly lacking in your stores.
