Market Basket

On May 9th 2021, I went to Market Basket in Somerville on Broadway st. To start I'm a cancer patient undergoing chemotherapy, wasn't feeling well to begin with but had to go food shopping. At the register the cashier started to conversate with another employee about Facebook and other personal conversation. My husband and I stood there for at least 4-5 minutes and I then asked her can you please finish ringing I'm not feeling well? She turns around and said that I was rude because I didn't say excuse me! I said why do I have to say excuse me when you should be ringing my grocery not talking about Facebook? She got offensive and called me a [censored]! I'm 47 years old and I have never been called out of my name! I then proceeded to talk to a manager because she was sure she wouldn't get reprimanded. He did absolutely nothing about the situation. Over 10-11 other customers came to me and said that it was the worst thing they ever witnessed! I just can't understand how a person with such a disgusting personality is working around customers? We got clips from other customers and if I don't see this uneducated person get reprimanded I will share and post it everywhere I can. This was Mother's day and I was being offended in a place where I'm giving them my buisness. It's uncalled for.
