I scheduled a covid vaccine appointment online at the Walgreens 107 high st Danvers MA. The appointment was for April 6, 2021 at 11;25 am. The appointment was scheduled a week in advance of that date. On the day before the appointment I called the pharmacy to confirm the appointment because I did not get an email or text (text is what I asked for) on the day before the appointment. The pharmacist said "Oh the computer was down that day and giving out a lot of appointments that we cannot honor." I am 68 years old and could have scheduled another appointment if they had called to tell the people the appointment was not valid. I asked if I show up at the scheduled time will they turn me away and was told "yes". I asked to speak with the manager and was denied. I asked to schedule another appointment and was denied. Unacceptable!
