McDonald's

Went there twice on different occasions and ordered a burger combo and hot and spicy combo.
And the buns were smooshed as if it had bern trampled on. I didnt realize it until I got to my destination so I threw the sandwiches away.
Why would the buns be served to someone in that manner that they wouldn't want to eat.
