Ordered breakfast. 2 for 4 sandwich. And 2 for 5 sandwiches. Drive thru. Got home to sandwiches were missing. Returned humbly to get missing sandwiches. And the employee goes into a trash bucket (right in front of me with no shame at all), retrieves two sandwiches and proceeds to re bag (not rewrap or remake) them and serve me... I asked the gentleman, "are you really going to serve me food out of the trash?" He protested that this Home Depot bucket full of food "is not trash" and that the food "is fine" nonchalantly. Before things could escalate other staffed rushed forward offering to make amends, remake food, offer free food, offering refunds. I choose refund $27 dollar order... They only refunded me for the two sandwiches. (not acceptable.) I found it odd that no one addressed the employee's mistake. I even leveled with the guys. Told him it's not his fault. Someone obviously trained him to believe that that was okay. He remained silent. Come to find out, this guy was the store manager... A store manager, leader of other employees found no problem digging food out the trash in front of the customer to serve them, truly terrifies me of what goes on behind the counter that we can't see. Utterly despicable. An overwhelming feeling told me to record and document the interaction when I returned to get my missing food, I am not that type of person but I am so glad I did.
Desired outcome: I demand an immediate response within 48 hours to attempt to find a resolution amongst parties before seeking further actions. Contact [protected]@gmail.com
